A-Z Avatar Project part.1
I have just been in this weird funk the last few days. For so long I have been using the internet as an outlet for creativity and keeping myself busy but lately everything on the net seems so redundant. Years ago when I first started getting online and blogging things were new on the net and that was probably the best time to be online. Everything was fresh and creative but these days it seems like everything is just a copy of something else and lately I feel like why even read anything anymore its just the same stuff. Every blogger seems to buy the same pug, have the same cross blanket and post the same mood boards.
Once one blogger mentions a new social network its just everyone else making the same post about the same thing until the next new trend comes rolling on. That’s another thing I just do not get why everyone is signed up for like 100 social networks. Are people really that obsessed with letting the world know and see their every move? I do not want people to know me when I am out in public are that I am currently eating lunch. Does that make me crazy? I guess I am just really missing originality that used to be here years ago and well privacy.
So when I am feeling blah one thing that always picks me up is just doing something like painting, reading or designing. I took to photoshop this morning and decided to make some avatars using each letter of the alphabet and then I thought ‘hey I should give this out for free’ and so here we are. I am going to divide them up into three posts for you all. What you get in this first download is letters A-J and each one is 170×170 which makes them the perfect avatar to use.
I hope you all enjoy them and have any of you ever felt like I am feeling now?

I need to start painting and sketching more I agree with your comment for sure. I used to a lot but its rare that I do these days.
Yeah I also have the same feeling towards the blog world even though I didn’t start as early as you did. I easily see a bunch of similar blog posts every week on blogs I follow. But I can understand because it isn’t so easy to keep a frequent posting routine while keeping the content original and exciting. So passion or profit is always a question…
Anyway I love this idea of avatar project. And the B letter is my most favorite. It’s simple and the color combo is so cute
Yes, that is another thing when I started blogging people did it bc they wanted an outlet and was passionate about these days people only start blogs to try to make something from them.

I agree sometimes it seem a little monotamous over the bloggin world. I have a passion for blogging but I just do not have the time to commit quite yet. Maybe I will try again once the kids are older.
I also loved to paint when I was younger, recently we went and sat in a park and painted. It was a nice change of scenery and it was so much fun.
